Aditi Govitrikar is an Indian model, actress as well as a physician. She was born on January 1, 1976. Her sister Arzoo Govitrikar is an Indian film actress. She has a younger brother, Alpan.
Aditi finished her schooling from Barns High School in Mumbai. She completed her MBBS from Grant Medical College in Mumbai.
Aditi started her career as a model after winning the Gladrags Megamodel title in 1996. She was voted the 'Best Face' and the 'Best Body' at the Asian Supermodel Contest in Singapore in 1997. She has also appeared on the Indian Elle’s magazine cover in 1999. She was crowned with the Gladrags Mrs. India title in 2000 and Mrs. World title in 2001.
Aditi started her acting career with the Hindi film Soch (2002). She has also acted in other Bollywood films such as 16 December (2002), Baaz (2003), Dhund (2003), Paheli (2005), Kaisay Kahein (2007) etc. She has done various commercial ads for brands like Pond’s, Phillips, Coca-Cola, Clinic All Clear, 502 Pataka Tea, Eureka Forbes etc. She has also appeared in the music albums such as Kabhi to Nazar Milao sung by Adnan Sami and Baarish Ho Rahi Hai sung by Anu Malik.
Aditi is a gynecologist by profession. She married Dr. Muffazal Lakdawalla in 1998. They have a daughter, Kiara. She is also known by her married name, Dr. Sarah Muffazal Lakdawala.
She was one of the contestants of Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi, an Indian reality stunt game show on Colors TV channel. She was among the top three finalists.
