When the producer of Velayudham has approached Aswini Dutt for the Tamil remake rights of Azad, Aswini Dutt sold it at a very good price. Later he searched for the family members of Tirupati Swamy and gave away the entire amount he has earned through the sale of Azad remake rights to the family members of Tirupati Swamy.
